Designed as a fully student-produced experience, Lee Street TakeOver provides high school-aged artists with immersive, hands-on training in every aspect of theatrical storytelling — from performance and directing to design, stage management, technical production, marketing, and collaboration.

Under the mentorship, oversight, and support of the professional staff at Lee Street Theatre, students are empowered to take creative ownership of a complete one-weekend theatrical production. This unique educational initiative bridges classroom instruction and real-world artistic practice, giving emerging theatre makers the opportunity to develop practical skills, leadership experience, and artistic confidence in a professional working environment.
