COVID-19 Policies

Lee Street Theatre COVID-19 Safety Protocol and Policies

  • Everyone who enters the building is temperature checked and documented in a realtime google sheets document.
  • All Production Staff is required to be masked at all times. Staff will be gloved when appropriate (temperature checks, or working in close quarters with cast/crew).
  • Air Handling Fan System will be on at all times during rehearsals to flush the system with air.
  • Social Distancing will be accomplished whenever possible off stage.
  • Production Team and cast will be given at least one instance of a break to refresh themselves with bottled water and will be encouraged to wash and sanitize their hands.
  • All Production Props that can be sanitized will be done so once we are in the process of running nightly with them.
  • All performers will be microphoned to prevent any further pushing of the voice or projection that can be assisted with sound capability.
  • All surfaces/areas to do with the production will be cleaned before the next rehearsal via sweeping, cleaning wipes, and/or washed down with soap and warm water.
  • All trash receptacles will be changed at least every other day to remove any items of contamination and/or general waste.
  • The directorial staff will be asked to block/stage performers in staggered and as socially distanced as reasonable, to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
  • All cast and crew will be asked to maintain social distancing and limit extra trips outside of the direct area to cut down on the possible receiving of Coronavirus from elsewhere and bringing it in the building.
  • ALL building Volunteers and staff will be temperature checked by House Manager and documented in a real-time google sheet.
  • All volunteers will abide by their designated areas and social-distance at all times.
  • All patrons will be temperature checked, hand-sanitized, and masked BEFORE ENTRY TO THE BUILDING. if they do not have a mask, one can be provided for them.
  • All facility restrooms accessible to the public will be monitored and wiped down/cleaned every 30-minutes when the building is occupied by the public at large.
  • The building volunteers and staff will help to remind patrons and volunteers to continually consider those around them and keep social-distanced within reason.
  • ALL STAFF, PRODUCTION CAST, AND CREW will be masked at all times, outside of performing actively on stage. This includes when off-stage waiting to go on stage, changing costumes, on breaks, etc. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
  • Due to the recent COVID-19 exposure from the prior production, All production elements will descend UNDER the requirements needed to accomplish SAFETY and MINIMALIZING OF POSSIBLE TRANSMISSION.
  • All performers will be given ample, socially-distanced space to make costume changes, inclusive of extending any scene changes. Performers will be asked when leaving the stage to immediately mask, make the change in provided spaces, and then remove the mask upon entry to the active performance space.
  • ALL PERFORMERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE FACE SHIELDED DURING LIVE PERFORMANCE. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS RULE. Face Shield are already acquired and will be implemented FUN HOME and forward.
  • ALL INDIVIDUALS will provide their own drink containers and will be responsible for the place, filling, and refilling of said containers. Bottled water is always provided to performers free of charge.
  • All Staff, Production Cast, and Crew will subject themselves to self-assessment and fill out and turn in a nightly wellness-check, no later than 1-hour before call/rehearsal.
